The family business was founded in 1906 and can look back on over 100 years of history. With three branches, they have developed a diverse business model: an INTERSPORT store and two leather goods stores. Originally rooted in the leather industry, they expanded their range and later integrated the sports store.

With around 30 employees, the company was facing a strategic challenge: two separate ERP systems for different business areas. The goal was clear – to find a unified solution for all three businesses, to increase efficiency and significantly reduce error rates, duplication of work and wasted time.
The company also wanted to switch to modern, mobile workflows that are no longer tied to a fixed location. This was the second important reason for switching to advarics, in addition to the standardization of merchandise management.
The initial contact with advarics was established while the company was looking for a new merchandise management system for leather goods. At that time, however, the company had decided to go with a competitor. The decisive moment finally came through a recommendation from Intersport – which was no longer able to optimally cover the leather segment.

Two aspects were particularly crucial: the cloud-based solution and the extensive interfaces. The cloud technology gives us flexible access to the system – whether in the store in Delmenhorst, in Bremen or at trade fairs. The seamless integration of web shops and APIs offers us additional future-proofing. Unlike other merchandise management systems, all the necessary interfaces are already ready for connection – without the need for costly in-house development.
